anyhows..almost did a weird mix combi AGAIN;
was it mango sorbet on wafers? in Bens and Jerry..wahahas..
and now the same weird mismatch, Mango sorbet with butterscotch and maltesers--lol do that finger thing tt say "dont match lei" again for me.
so instead let the expert do the match, butterscotch with feraro and maltesers..hee a tad too milky and thick i reckon.
This place is one of a kind-choose 2flavors and a side topping, they'll mix everything up for you,yes including crushing your toppings.
ohh ohh and 2am Dessertbar mentioned yesterday, saw it on papers today the owner's just 25 yrs of age,she joined the star chief show thingy on chn 8 and emerge as 1st runner up..capable ain't she. rich and smart she holds a degree from NUS of cos not in culinary or F&B or anything related. She's just pursuing her passion now.
How i wish im rich too..alrights wishing and dreaming about it won't budge the fact i'll haveta work hard for it. But theres one thing that you don't have to strike rich for-- the next treat there.. =DD

Out with my dearest dearest bestie
no one can replace her.. =))
Head over to Dhoby, first thing to do was to withdraw some dough..yea can't do without them especially when we're together.
$20 was all we limit ourselves to spent today.
Went to Cotton on as usual, they should make us ambassadors or something-cos sometimes i leave house dawn fully in cotton on's clothings and accessories. Haa
i get coy walking into cotton on sometimes thinking i would be thought of as one of their staffs.
So anyways, after one wk i've gotten my shorts changed ahh yes i love the new fit of it, at least im assured it wont drop of my waist. =D Size 8..haha next goal--to fit into size 6 :P

Cotton Body is the newly opened shop, yep its affiliated to cotton on, stuffs here are LOVELY GIRLY, very attractive, price super affordable..almost bought this baby pink flower prints and pattern of patchworks pajamas for an astounding price of 10bucks..but later on decide not too cos there's too many lil sweet stuff that got me confused as to buy which first.. haha

She complained she was thirsty and having picked up her bf genes,she wanna buy the cheapest water she can ever find. Went to Carrefour and saw this CHEAP 35cent bottle of water, but we both had our suspicions-too cheap to be true (Some tabs were tampered, some cover with dirty "biscuit crumbs-that-have-been-put-in-mouth" lookalike) so we decided to head over to the bottles of water section instead.
I wanted my FIJI($1.50) ,she insisted on GLINTER($1)--???..anyways so do the math,we go for the cheaper of the two of cos..there were other ordinary ones made available nationwide we could choose from and much cheap but nopes..

i was made to pay for her cos she accused me of making her spent money in cotton body..huhhh?? now who decided to buy that pants on her own accord? and i have to take the wrap.
Walked to Simlim to get the best quotations for replacing her laptop LCD screen, best deal $240
stopped by Killiney Kopitiam(which took us 3times at least up and dwn the elevator and lift just to find it)..to only get ripped off with a simple meal

which tyara felt bad for making me have our meals there, explains the $2 rebate..haha i sound so cheapo right? Wrong..she just wanna clear her guilty conscience and im helping her by excepting it. =P
After filling our tummies way to the bream we walked towards the national library,
before we could actually reach our destination we had to pass by OG and all-i don't fancy that place..
anyways this sales lady approach us about some beauty product thing, for sure i knew it was a scam or we had to sign some bond or something..but that girl had to be blinded by the free bottle of serum thingy and i was pulled along unwillingly into their work tentage..after 5mins of listening to them i kinda got frustrated, the sales women all had the same tagline "you're so cute lei, you're so pretty lei"-used when they ran outta words..grrhh.
Please~.. i politely declined her "pure concern" about my skin...more like "cash concern"
We got so pissed..and where was our free serum? not that im hard up for it.. looks like some fake goods, i was just frustrated at the fact i lost 10mins trying to shake her off..
After our catastrophe, the usual temptation of spending your money in bugis street somehow just don't seem to appear even though there were vivid yummies that could be fished out in those shops, we just strolled past Bugis street ignorant of all the commotions right before our eyes.
Carried on, this time being focused on our destination- The National Library..
Spent the rest of the evening there reading books and after so many years of graduating from school i finally found my childhood love again, BOOKS. Novels, Biography..haha who say there isn't a bookworm in us?
Read till the library closed..borrowed 3 books in total to keep me accompanied through the nights and through the quiet moments in the day. =D
A sense of fulfillment surges through our bodies after the retreat into the library  yep we borrowed just this one same book..and vowed to read it at the same time.

No latte breaks along the way today as we planned but i can foresee our future outtings will be somewhat like that; shoppings, reading books as we sip to our lattes with faint music in our background whichever cafe we choose to dine in...

I'm home =D
other then the weather here i have nothing else to complain about..
the comfort of my very own home and ROOM just sets my soul at peace.
I thought that the trip to perth was refreshing, haven been there for 10yrs..oh boy was i small the last time i was there. Those people there whom saw me back then went "OH MY GOODNESS,she's gone so big" and in my head i go "do i know you?" haha anyways they were nice people.
Visited my relatives from both side.
We touched down safely after 5 long agonizing hours in the plane with nothing to do nothing to watch. Arggh that's what u get when to go on budget airline, u'll have to pay for everything from food to drinks and do they charge u lots.. i mean LOTS.
So when we came out from the customs the sky were all dark, by 7pm the skies were pitch black.
Settled in at my aunt connie's place(dad's side), after dinner we went to the casino to take a look =D
and the next day(Mon) we travelled another 5hrs by car down to Margret river.
Anyways pictures always do best at talking,so...
Monday 9th June
 along the streets of Margret river..  i kinda didn't really see any river, just this one time but its a beach.   yep we stayed over for a night at 'Restawile motel'-lodging was free cos my aunt knew the lady who run it all by herself. oh yea its 7degree in the night. nice! smoke comes outta your mouth as u talk. Tuesday, 10th June the next day we went sight seeing, apparently the cave was close, we were too early.   i dunno the specific name of this place but the view was absolutely breathtaking. stole some shots and it started pouring. =D  This is canal on the coast, this pile of rocks used to be beneath the sea level 750million yrs ago.  we walked on along side of the erected rocks on a narrow bridge. Looks like photoshop-ed ehh? i reckon the scenery picture perfect. Uncle winston said every summer there'll be at least a case of people losing their life here as a result of being over adventurous. What they say? Curiosity kills the cat..  pop-ed by a winery on the way back.  this is Aidan (kaka boy), my nephew-funny how the whole trip everyone forgot and told him to call me jie jie. hahas good thing for me too. Wednesday, 11th June Went shopping in Harbor Town, den to the city. Din have much things to buy there.  met my mum's side relatives, they brought us to Nicholson's Grill & Bar. Portions of food were HUGE..loved the mussels-they were awfully generous with it =D After dinner head over to auntie jasmine's place,mum and i stayed for the night dad went back to auntie connie's place. And uncle Steven kept on making fun of ryan and me when we were younger. =S "you miss ur papa arh?...no i miss my daddy" arms around each other everywhere we went when we were younger..hahas..time flies we're both old now. Thursday-fri, 12th-13th Junemum and i went shopping at carousel the whole day from 10am till 6pm..how cool is that, bought alil things cos it is winter and all the summer sales were either ugly or in the plus sizes. Went to a chinese restaurant for some local(sg) food haha boy i miss chinese food... Stayed over at uncle wing's place. trinyce and teon were so cute they're starting to speak like a true aussie kid. hahas  and then back to aunt connie's place, by now i was home sick, got a lil whiny, missed home so much that i teared. Went to fremantle in the afternoon for fish and chips and present hunting. In the evening till night we went for dinner at some pub, there u see old man n women dancing LOL. Saturday, 14th June
It was Aidan's 2nd birthday, had a celebration for him. He's a smart chap..  everyone had to be dressed in a wiggle color-his fav kids entertainer grp(something like Hi5) even his bday cake had wiggle characters on it. His house is beautiful, big and spacious, includes a gym room, theater room and a back porch how nice.. At night we pop-ed by kings park, reminds me of our mount faber. Sunday, 15th June
we went to Airport city church in the morning, small lovely church..in the afternoon attended another birthday party this time 60th birthday, i don't know her,she's auntie connie's friend..yea she had loadsa friends... And so the concluding of our trip, we got conned into uncle winston prank..what happened was this lady called looking for my dad to tell him our trip back home had to be delayed cos of some bad weather conditions and we all believed..lol.. to only realize that the women who called was uncle winston's sis..grrh.. thank God..hahaa And so we arrived safely in Singapore at around 3am the next morning... lets talk about friday, 30th may 2008
Had my ever first full time job interview with temasek club. The location is really deep in.
Alrights it turned out not too bad after all, didn't had cold feets like i thought i would, didn't stutter, didn't blank out. It was a rather good first interview. Evolved from an interview to casual talks and laughs.
Hmm but i somehow feel i wont get the job there, not because i'm incompetent, but oh well my gut feelings say so. haha
I'll just keep sending my resumes out to hotels, not gonna stop pursuing my dream. =D
After the interview i decided to take a cab out since its so deep in and i dunno wad time the bus comes by, the uncle talk and talk and continued talking to me, by the time i was arriving my destination he stopped the meter and gave me a discount to what might have sum up to $6 to $5. haha best deal. i got his contact no. cos he promised he'll give me discount each time i decide to take his cab. SWEET. hahaha
Reached cg, i think i'll have to agree with wanfong that i'm a little high (HAPPY & CHIRPY) cos of the events that took place before that. Murderer game was a blast, i think im good at being a murderer i Silence those who wanted to expose me. WOOHUU.
I think i sounded rushy while leading testimony and offering =P
I had to run off to meet the gals
So arrived at downtown east again by cab, this time the uncle kept talking too, told me of this animal resort thingy at seletar farmway?? hmm i was kinda hoping i could get a discount for all those good talks sadly not everyday is a sunday..haha.
Hug those gals when i saw them, haven seen them all for like a yr plus now not all 7 of us were present though, it was a great time catching up and hearing interesting stories.
The night had to pass so quickly like a whirlwind the next thing we knew we were all saying our goodbyes.
I wanna see u gals again this week before i fly off.
Okis i know im being paranoid... i keep wanting to meet old friends up talk to friends i haven spoke to for ages-is this a sign? they say that b4 something bad happen to u, you start feeling this way. God u wont let anything bad happen won't You. =)
Oki 7 more days and hello winter =D
this watery nose better stop cranking up before i leave.
